Teaching has been the highlight of graduate school for me, and I have received incredibly positive feedback from students and faculty alike. When asked to, “indicate the overall teaching effectiveness of the teaching assistant,” my students overwhelming chose the highest option, excellent, for an average of a 4.49 out of 5. I also received the Economics Department's Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award during the 2016-2017 academic year, taught my own course on energy economics in the Spring of 2018, and led a course for our first-year graduate students on teaching economics in the Fall of 2018.
